So, I couldn't be happier with this convenient little reader! With this kind of durability and usefulness, you really can't go wrong keeping one of these around! I have it clipped to my keychain, so it takes plenty of daily abuse, and I've had no problems with the Micro SD card that I KEEP inserted into it coming loose, or with the reader itself coming apart or evidencing any real signs of the wear and tear that it endures every day.
Just over a year later, and this Micro SD card reader is still going strong and working beautifully. People I know come to me for advise on what are the better computer-equipment brands and you would not want me to tell people what brand NOT to buy. Your's is a big company in the computer-equipment world and you have a reputation to uphold or maybe to prevent from getting any more degraded. SanDisk, you need to have better quality control. I have often had flash drives of theirs completely conk out right after I put a great deal of files in them and all my files were lost. It is actually not the first time that a product of theirs failed. I would like the seller and / or the SanDisk company to know this.
I have tried the SD card reader on different computers. When I first received it it worked great but only after a few weeks it does not always show the contents of the SD card. This SD card reader has a good design and feels rugged and durable but somehow its inner parts may not be functioning right. (It seems that the Amazon site might have disabled the function to attach a review video and I am very disappointed about that. That is if the video gets attached at all and it might not. I am attaching a video which in spite of poor quality should still get the point across.
